2019 Artist Educators Exhibition

KHN is proud to host the Nebraska Art Teacher Association’s 2019 Artist Educator Exhibition. This juried group show highlights the work of 34 art educators from across the state of Nebraska and coincides with NATA's annual fall conference, September 27 and 28, in Nebraska City. 

Selected artworks showcase a wide array of subject matter and media including photography, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and batik.

This year's exhibiting artists include: Carolyn Albracht, Calvin Banks, Rachael Belké, Jennifer Bockerman, Jody Boyer, Jennifer Carlisle, Stephanie Carlson-Pruch, Megan Cherry, Susanna Clinton, Kacee Conley, Johnna Eck, Hilary George, Deb Goodenberger, Samantha Guelden, Sarah Hall, Rebecca Jorgenson, Kelsey Konvalin, Josephine Langbehn, Jane Langenfeld, Christi Lewis, Marisa McClintock, Becky Morine, Bob Reeker, Jean Rempfer, Shelby Rix, Julie Ryan, Kalla Sawyer, Katie B Temple, Allison Varah, Abby Webb, Nancy Wiese, Jennie Wilson, Jeff Yoachim, and Paula Yoachim.

The Nebraska Art Teachers Association (NATA) was founded in 1923 with a mission to advocate for and advance art education in Nebraska to fulfill human potential and promote global understanding. NATA’s Art Educators exhibition is presented in conjunction with their annual conference, each year hosted in a different Nebraska town or city. 

Special AppleJack gallery hours will be hosted on Saturday, September 21 from noon – 3pm.

The public is also invited to attend KHN’s monthly Third Thursday Artist Talk event on Thursday, September 19 from 5-7pm— an excellent opportunity to not only see this vibrant exhibition but also hear from KHN’s current resident artists, writers, and composer.
