Resident Artists

Applications can now be submitted by visual artists, writers, and composers from across the country and around the world to be considered for a residency in the first half of 2013 at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts. Apply by September 1, 2012 through our online portal for 2 to 8-week residency between January and June 2013. Read more.

Gallery Exhibitions

Opening Monday, May 7, Constituents features the work of Omaha artists, Rebecca Hermann and Liz Vercruysse. Cut and painted paper installations, along with totemic ceramic forms fill the gallery through June 28. A reception for the artists is scheduled for Thursday, May 31 from 5 - 7 p.m. Read more.

 
 

Community Outreach

Take a look at the variety of opportunities to continue your education with art classes in our partnership with Southeast Community College. KHN has worked with SCC for a number of years to offer exciting adult classes in glass, quilting and painting. Read more.
