Third Thursday Artist Talks
Third Thursday Artist Talks
The return of this engaging monthly event is an outstanding opportunity to meet KHN exhibiting and resident visual artists, writers, and composers and learn first-hand about their work and creative practices.
The evening begins with snacks and wine, graciously donated by the Kimmel Foundation, and a chance to meet the artists and socialize with friends. Our exhibiting artist, resident writers, and composer present in the KHN Gallery, followed by a group visit to the visual arts studios.
Our new exhibit, Neurofibromatosis: A Portrait of Nebraska - works by Rachel Mindrup, will be on display from June 14 - August 6, 2021. Mindrup will begin the evening with a gallery talk about the exhibit, her work, and her ongoing advocacy to raise funds, educate, and ideally find a cure for Neurofibromatosis.
We will then hear from June Residents:
Allison Diesing, Visual Artist, Papillion, NE
Trey Moody, Writer, Omaha, NE
Keane Southard, Composer, Rochester, NY
Event is free and open to the public. We can't wait to SEE you on Third Thursday!
Following current CDC guidance, we highly encourage guests that are not fully vaccinated to wear face coverings when visiting. Disposable masks are available onsite.
