Victoria Hoyt
Victoria Hoyt grew up in a wooded pocket of north Omaha with her quiet, studious family. She received a wonderful education from the good people at Omaha Public Schools then went on to Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota for her bachelor’s degree. Soon after graduating in 2004 she returned to Omaha and kept a studio at the Hot Shops Art Center in north downtown. This fall she entered the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and resituated to the town of Ashland. In addition to improving herself as artist she is also looking to be a more than mediocre backyard farmer someday.
