Christina Nieves is a queer, Puerto Rican director, screenwriter and actor focused on Latine and LGBTQ+ driven content. Born in Queens, New York and raised in South Florida, Christina is currently developing a musical comedy with Big Beach Films and Emmy Award winning director Nneka Onuorah. Christina's TV writing credits include HBO Max's Generation and Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies for Paramount Plus, as well as Freeform’s Motherland: Fort Salem and Vida for Starz. She has developed both TV and Film with Showtime, Paramount Plus, NBC Universal, Universal Content Productions, and Working Title. Christina holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from DePaul University and a Master of Fine Arts in TV and Screenwriting from Stephens College. Her acting credits include projects with Netflix, Hulu and CBS, along with dozens of  plays at regional theaters across the country. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors' Equity Association and the Writers’ Guild of America. Christina is also a drummer and amateur
ceramist whose idea of a perfect day would be either A) curled up with her cats, reading a page turner, B) eating a giant sub on a sunny day at the beach, C) dancing front row at a Beyoncé concert, or D) all of the above!
