Cynthia Gregory is a Kentucky-based artist who grounds her studio practice in drawing. The results celebrate gestures of the personal in the form of delicately rendered drawings on paper and 3D "drawn objects." She holds a B.A. in English from Northern Kentucky University, a B.F.A. in Fine Art from the College of Mount St. Joseph, an M.L.S. in Library Science from Indiana University, and in June 2012, she completed an M.F.A. from the University of Cincinnati. Her writing has been published in The Allegheny Review, Poetry Motel, Forklift Ohio, College & Research Libraries News, and Reference Quarterly, and her artwork has been exhibited in national and international galleries including the Manifest Creative Research Gallery and Drawing Center, and Budapest's Raday Kepeshaz Gallery. In addition to her studio practice, she works as a library faculty member at a small liberal arts college, and she has also has led workshops on basic bookbinding and taught studio classes in collage mixed media, drawing, and digital arts.
