Dan Fishback is a playwright and performer from NYC, and director of the Helix Queer Performance Network. His musical, "The Material World" was one of Time Out NY's Top 10 Plays of 2013. Other NYC productions include "thirtynothing," "You Will Experience Silence," "Waiting for Barbara" and "Please Let Me Love You." As a musician, Fishback got his start in the East Village's anti-folk scene, and has toured internationally and released 5 albums, both solo and with his band Cheese On Bread. He has enjoyed residencies and fellowships with BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange, the Hemispheric Institute of Performance & Politics, Kelly Writers House, Franklin Furnace, Dixon Place, Yaddo, the MacDowell Colony and the Six Points Fellowship for Emerging Jewish Artists.
