Dawn Denham
Dawn Denham’s nonfiction has appeared in Dorothy Parker’s Ashes, After the Art, American Writers Review, Zone 3, Entropy, Waterwheel Review, as the inaugural Why I Write feature in Poets and Writers and is forthcoming in When I Knew edited by Kristen Iversen. She is co-author of Writing Together: Transforming Your Writing in a Writing Group and recipient of the Solstice Essay Prize judged by Jerald Walker. Her work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and award residency at Vermont Studio Center. She lives in Mississippi’s hill country where teaches at the University of Mississippi and produces Woven, a prose reading series in her community’s arts space. She holds an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts and is completing a memoir, SPIN: a daughter, her father, and dementia.
