Since 2000 Matt Franks has been part of numerous important international exhibitions, these include recent shows in China: Made in Britain' - Contemporary Art from the British Council Collection 1980 - 2010, Sichuan Provincial Museum in Chengdu, Xi'an Art Museum, Hong Kong Heritage Museum and Suzhou Art Museum, China, and The Future Demands Your Participation: Contemporary Art from the British Council Collection, Minsheng Art Museum, Shanghai, China, 2010. Solo shows include: Transcendent plastic infinite at the ART NOW space at Tate Britain, London 2002 and its so hard to tell whose going to love you the best, Houldsworth Gallery London, 2008. International exhibitions include: Tailsliding, British Council touring exhibition 2001-03; Into My World: New British Sculpture at the Aldrich Museum, Connecticut USA 2004; Metropolis Rise: New Art from London Beijing and Shanghai, 2006 and tech-mac-mayacom, Tokyo, Japan, 2007, 8x8x8, The Soap Factory, Minneapolis 2006. Matt is currently Head of Sculpture at Camberwell College of Arts, London.
