Matthew Daddona is the author of the poetry collection House of Sound (2020) and the novel The Longitude of Grief (2024). His writings have appeared in publications such as The New York Times, Newsday, Fast Company, Outside Magazine, Mcsweeney's Internet Tendency, Guernica, and Tin House. He is the recipient of an Academy of American Poets prize, and his fiction has earned honors in contests by The Blue Earth Review and River Styx. Matthew lives on the North Fork of Long Island where he's also a volunteer firefighter.
