Sharon Nyree Williams is a storyteller, presenter and producer of Performing Arts.  She believes in experiencing life through the artistry of storytelling and leadership. Sharon loves telling stories about her life, the lessons she’s learned, and the things she’s observed, with a hope that she will reach at least one person that can relate to her experiences. In making us as individuals and as a community stronger through the power of storytelling.

As an artist Sharon recently performed her latest solo performance Dare to Claim the Sky for LA Women’s Theatre Festival, Whitefire Theatre’s Black Voices, ACT Theatre’s ACTLAB Solo Fest, United Solo Festival in New York and as a part of Seattle Theatre Group’s Nights at the Neptune. In conjunction with the performance she released the book Dare to Claim the Sky that is a compilation of her stories from her albums. Sharon has produced three poetry plus storytelling albums SHOOK (just released), Humanity and The Consciousness of Love which was a recipient of the 2014-2015 Jack Straw Cultural Center’s Artist Support Fellowship. Sharon is the Executive Director for the Central District Forum for Arts & Ideas. 

 
Sharon is a graduate of the Seattle University Master of Fine Arts in Arts Leadership program, and a proud graduate of the Historical Black College and University, Delaware State University with two degrees Bachelors of Arts in Television Production and a Masters of Business Administration.
