vTara Gereaux has an MFA in creative writing from UBC, and has worked as a writer and story editor in film and television. An episode she co-wrote for CBC's Edgemont was nominated for a Leo Award. Her writing has also appeared several Canadian literary magazines, and she won Event's 14th Annual Creative Non-Fiction Competition, as well as several other screenwriting and non-fiction awards. Her first teen novel, Size of a Fist, was published by Thistledown Press and was nominated for two 2016 Saskatchewan Book Awards. The manuscript for her next novel won the 2016 City of Regina Writing Award. She is a Métis from the Qu'Appelle Valley, and currently resides in Regina.
