Teresa Dzieglewicz is an educator and current MFA candidate at Southern Illinois University where she worked as an Editorial Assistant at Crab Orchard Review. She is a co-director of the Mní Wičhóni Nakíčižiŋ Owáyawa (Defenders of the Water School) at Standing Rock. Her work has been honored by New Harmony Writer's Workshop, the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center, NY Mills Arts Retreat, and the St. Louis Poetry Center. Her poems appear or are forthcoming in Sixth Finch, THRUSH, RHINO, South Dakota Review, and Crab Creek Review. Her poem Stranger, thank you for giving me this body received a 2018 Pushcart Prize.
