Tom McCauley is a writer and comedian living in Amherst, Massachusetts. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Tom has an MFA in poetry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a BFA in creative writing from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He teaches writing and works as a bouncer. He has been a grant writer, an advertising copywriter, an arts administrator, a house cleaner, a bookseller, and co-editor of the online poetry journal Strange Machine. With his band The Answer Team, he wrote and performed the score for Constance Congdon's Tales of the Lost Formicans for the 2012 Great Plains Theatre Conference.
