KHN Alum (2005) Mary Mazziotti has announced recent and current shows and installations.

“After the Rain/Reign” showed at (Not) Sheep Gallery in Columbus, Ohio during June/July. This politically-themed show featured Mary's anti-Trump-regime embroidered panels.

“What We Don’t Talk About”, curated by Becky Slemmons, focuses on Death and our various responses to it. The show will be at the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s 937 Gallery runs until Sept 1. (top image)

Mary's large work “Broken Armadillo Triptych” will find a home for the next two years at the South Bend Museum of Art, Indiana. The 8 foot x 23 foot pieced and embroidered work will be installed near the entrance as part of their Sightlines project, which opens September 6. According to Mary's newsletter, during the installation, "Emma, a three-banded armadillo from the local zoo, was paying a visit. Looks like she approves. Or not. Hard to tell." (bottom image)

Mary's work will also be featured in the international exhibit, “Art at the X: Celebrating 50 Years of Women,” at Cincinnati’s Xavier University Art Gallery. The show runs Aug 23 - Sept 20, 2019.

Congratulations, Mary!
