Spotlight On Anke Becker's 12-Year-Old Project | Anonymous Drawings

Berlin-based artist Anke Becker was a KHN resident in 2015. Becker's 12-year-old project, Anonymous Drawings, was recently spotlighted by Blouin Artinfo International.

Growing out of an implicit crtiticism of inflated values in the art market, Becker began curating a traveling exhibition of anonymous drawings to "flatten the art world — in terms of names and prices". 12 years, 6,000 submissions, and 26 exhibitions later, the project has become a "succesful underground project".

The latest exhibition opened on July 14 and runs through September 19 at Galerie im Kornerpark in Berlin.
