Amanda Fields has published creative work in Indiana Review, Brevity, So To Speak, Nashville Review, and others. She co-edited a collection of essays by writers about their caesarean experiences, forthcoming from The Experiment Press in Spring 2019.  Additionally, she co-edited Toward, Around, and Away from Tahrir: Tracking Emerging Expressions of Egyptian Identity (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2014) and has published scholarship in Kairos, Journal of Adolescent Research, and Sexuality Research and Social Policy as well as book chapters. She holds a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition from The University of Arizona and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from the University of Minnesota. Currently an Assistant Professor of English at Fort Hays State University, she will be an incoming Assistant Professor of English and Writing Center Director at Central Connecticut State University in the Fall.
