He has attended over twenty artist residencies and has lived in nineteen cities across thirteen states. Fellowships include the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program, Ucross Foundation for the Arts, the Millay Colony, Elsewhere, the Wurlitzer Foundation, and the H.A. Rey Center. Levi co-created Mirror Mirrored: An Artists’ Edition of 25 Grimms’ Tales and contributed interior illustrations to Robert Bly’s Truer than True: The Wisdom of Fairy Tales. He has been a regular writer for Gwarlingo and Art New England, painted a 175-foot-long mural across from MASS MoCA, has exhibited in and curated shows across America, and is a partner in the design firm Gwarlingo Studio. He is currently remixing vintage game boards and making a book from illustrations of Alice in Wonderland.

Corwin Levi is a visual artist who wakes up drawing cloud monsters, adds in the children who chase the cloud monsters away after his coffee, studies the stars when they come out at night, and the way people paint them when the city is too bright to pick any out. He consults with explorers who have traveled to the stars to see what makes them shine and wonders why Sally says some stars shine like seashell shores. In pursuit of such interests, Corwin uses a variety of media including paintings, drawings, children's books, sculpture, video, and music. He has a BA from Rice University, an MFA from the Tyler School of Art, and has participated in shows and residencies around the world.
