Kelsey Scult
Kelsey Scult is a New Orleans-based multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker. Her work explores the physical intersection of desire and decay, contemporary intimacy, reimagining community archives, and recontextualizing film history. Food and grief are her muses. Films Kelsey has produced and directed have played at Sundance, SXSW, Outfest, Atlanta Film Fest, and more. She is an alumna of the New Orleans Film Society's Southern Producers Lab, The Gotham’s Narrative Lab, the Southern Foodways Alliance Filmmaker Residency, and the Joan Mitchell Center’s Artist Residency. She is a member of The Front Gallery collective. She received her BA from Oberlin College in Studio Art and her MFA from the University of New Orleans in Film Production.
