Minahil Qazi is an Interdisciplinary Environmental Artist and MFA candidate in Studio Art -Printmaking at the University of Arkansas. Her practice centers on transforming naturally fallen or storm-damaged plants, along with discarded materials, into artworks that honor their stories and inspire environmental awareness. Recurring motifs such as the great blue heron, spider webs, nests, and bridges reflect themes of resilience, interdependence, and renewal. Influenced by her work with women artisans in Pakistan’s slow fashion industry, Qazi celebrates traditional craftsmanship while advocating for ethical consumption and mindful living. During her time with the Indus Heritage Trust, her handcrafted designs were selected for the Honors and Special Collection Catalogs by Made51 and showcased at the Global Refugee Forum in Geneva. Her artistic philosophy bridges sustainability, community engagement, and empowerment. Qazi currently works at Mount Sequoyah as a Marketing Intern and Creative Design Agent, serves as
a Teaching Assistant at the University of Arkansas, and leads Community Upcycling Workshops.
