Nevada Lozano is a musical theater composer, lyricist, music director, and pianist. He has served as music assistant for several Broadway productions, including: Oklahoma! (2019 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical), The Sound Inside (directed by David Cromer, starring Mary-Louise Parker), and Sea Wall/A Life (starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Sturridge). Most recently, he served as assistant sound designer on Judgment Day (directed by Richard Jones, starring Luke Kirby) at the Park Avenue Armory.

Nevada is a member of the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop (Advanced) and received the organization’s Jerry Harrington Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement in 2018. He was also a finalist for the 2019 Jonathan Larson Grant. His musical, Ramona, based on the classic novel by Helen Hunt Jackson, received a “pre-premiere” at NY Theatre Barn in February 2019. He studied composition and piano at the Eastman School of Music and Rice University.
