Although trained classically, violinist, vocalist & composer/arranger Tara Novak has devoted much of her life to studying music of many genres, specializing in Irish traditional & contemporary music. She completed a degree in jazz performance & orchestration at Berklee College of Music, and she works extensively as a soloist, recording artist, and arranger. In 2017, she was both the featured soloist and orchestrator for the Boston Civic Symphony's Holiday Pops. She has performed with Riverdance, Heartbeat of Home, the Three Irish Tenors, and Druid, as well as music-directing and leading her own show, Ishna, and has toured throughout Europe, North America, the Caribbean, & Asia. When not on the road, Tara can frequently be found playing for Broadway musicals: recent credits include Fun Home, Something Rotten, Sound of Music, and The Lion King. She considers herself lucky to have shared the stage with some of the world's greatest artists: Stevie Wonder, Rod Stewart, il Divo, Bill Bailey, Mannheim Steamroller, and more.
